World We imagine Pitch

 Background:

I grew up with a younger sister who spent hours on her phone scrolling through social media, and I knew early on how easily self-worth can become tied to likes, filters, and followers. She was beginning High school  when I started to notice the impact of comparing herself to influencers, feeling left out, and worrying about how she looked online.

Social media is
powerful, but for many teens and young adults, it undermines mental health insidiously. Whether via comparison anxiety and FOMO, cyberbullying and validation addiction, the effects are real and growing. Schools often don't have the time and resources to manage the emotional toll of digital life, sadly.

The MindScroll Foundation:

The MindScroll Foundation is dedicated to helping young people
achieve healthier relationships with social media. MindScroll empowers teens to take control of their screen time, set boundaries, and become mindful of the impact virtual spaces have on their mental health through school-based workshops, peer support groups, and online mindfulness resources.

Our
mission is to make mental well being a part of the everyday online discussion while equipping students with emotional intelligence, digital resilience, and self-awareness to navigate social media without losing themselves in the scroll.
